Join us in making a positive impact as an Apprentice HGV Maintenance Technician at our Biffa facility.
In response to our ongoing expansion, Biffa is seeking enthusiastic individuals to train as HGV technicians within our dynamic organization. As an HGV Technician at Biffa Waste Services, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our fleet of state-of-the-art waste collection vehicles in our workshops.
This position will equip you with the skills necessary to perform maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of waste collection vehicles and equipment, covering various makes, models, and types, from small vans to articulated units and trailers.

You will gain expertise in the following areas;
Servicing and repairing vehicle chassis and cabs in accordance with industry standards, including preparation for inspections. Maintenance and repair of waste handling machinery, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults. Maintaining a high standard of organization, both digitally and in paper form. Assisting with health and safety matters to uphold the OHSAS18001 standard already achieved.Requirements
