Job Title: Project Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead our client's 80-bedroom hotel refurbishment project. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering commercial construction projects and will be responsible for overseeing the project's execution, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including project managers, engineers, and site managers
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they are within budget
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in delivering commercial construction projects
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • SMSTS / CSCS certification

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 6/7 in a relevant construction field
