We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Luton Bennett, a leading supplier of manufacturing machinery with a global reputation for excellence.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer to work on automated machinery, with a focus on building, testing, and commissioning equipment. You will be based at our state-of-the-art facility in Gloucester, where you will support the assembly and building of machinery, ensuring it meets our high-quality standards.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out final testing and inspections of machinery
- Overseeing the strip down of machinery before it is sent to customer sites
- Rebuilding, installing, commissioning, and modifying equipment at customer sites
- Supporting the training of those operating the machinery
You will spend approximately 80-150 days per year at customer sites, working on a variety of projects and collaborating with our global team. We offer a competitive salary, international travel opportunities, and a contributory pension scheme.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A mechanically biased background with a clear understanding of pneumatics and basic electrics
- Experience working with automated machinery in any industry
- A completed apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
