We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrician Consultant to join our team at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality obstetric care to patients, including sessions on Labour ward and Antenatal clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert obstetric care to patients, including Labour ward and Antenatal clinics
  • Work collaboratively with a strong team of 23 Consultant Obstetricians, Gynaecologists, and academic staff
  • Contribute to the development of the Obstetrics Department and the hospital's overall service needs
  • Participate in formal departmental teaching and training responsibilities for undergraduate medical students and postgraduate trainees
Requirements
  • Essential qualifications: MRCOG or equivalent
  • Higher specialist training leading to CCT or within 6 months of confirmed entry on the GMC Specialist Register
  • Alternatively, applicants should possess a CESR / CESR (CP)
