Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team at Agilis Recruitment Ltd. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, testing, and commissioning cutting-edge equipment worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Setup and Testing: Prepare and test client's equipment for dispatch, ensuring it meets the required standards.
  • Commissioning and Installation: Install and bring client's technology to life at overseas factories, working closely with various teams.
  • Training and Support: Equip factory staff with the skills to use and maintain our machines, providing insightful feedback and recommendations.
  • Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with various teams, providing clear reports and communicating effectively at all levels.

Requirements:

  • Engineering Expertise: Completed a recognized Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally with an ONC or HNC in Engineering.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Knowledge: Skilled in mechanical assembly, fault diagnosis, and using measuring tools like micrometres and vernier callipers, with a basic understanding of electrical control circuits and PLCs.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent at interpreting mechanical and pneumatic drawings.
  • Effective Communication: Can write clear reports and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Global Travel: Must have a valid passport and be up-to-date on travel vaccinations and health requirements.
