We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our Facilities Maintenance Team at Gov Facility Services Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out painting and decorating tasks to a high standard, ensuring a safe and secure environment for prisoners, staff, and visitors.
- Work collaboratively with other maintenance team members to achieve our goals and objectives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance plans and schedules.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or defects, and assist in the resolution of these issues.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent).
- Experience working in a maintenance team, preferably in a prison or secure environment.
- An honest and reliable character, with a strong sense of purpose and pace.
