About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Fellow in Neonatal Medicine to join our team at North Bristol NHS Trust. As a Clinical Fellow, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Neonatal Medicine service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to neonates and their families
  • Develop and maintain expertise in neonatal medicine, including intensive care and neurology
  • Participate in teaching and training activities to support the development of junior staff
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and service delivery
Requirements
  • MB BS (or equivalent) and full registration with the GMC
  • MRCPCH or equivalent and APLS, NLS
  • At least 72 months of paediatric experience, including 6 months of neonatal experience at ST1-3 level in a tertiary centre and 12 months at middle grade in a DGH and/or tertiary unit
  • Technical skills involved in the care of neonates, including competent history taking and examination skills
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Postgraduate qualification
  • At least 12 months of UK experience
  • Experience and familiarity with UK hospital systems and practices
  • Experience as a middle grade in a tertiary neonatal unit
