About Us:


Hawkes Resourcing Group is collaborating with a prominent flooring contractor to find a Site Manager with a strong background in flooring and tiling projects throughout East London and the M25 region.

This position is perfect for a seasoned Site Manager or Supervisor aiming to advance into contract management.


Role Overview:


You will be tasked with supervising flooring and tiling projects, ensuring that all work adheres to the highest quality standards while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include managing teams, coordinating project activities, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients and project managers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Strategically plan and organize the workflow of flooring installers to meet project deadlines.
  • Quality Assurance: Guarantee that all installations are executed to the highest standards and comply with contractual specifications.
  • Health & Safety: Implement strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.
  • Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to ensure projects stay on track and within budget.
  • Resource Oversight: Manage the utilization of materials, tools, and equipment, optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Progress Monitoring: Participate in site meetings and provide regular updates on project status and advancements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in flooring installation and supervision.
  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of flooring materials and installation methods; experience in tiling is highly advantageous.
  • Qualifications: Formal qualifications or extensive experience as a floor layer/fitter are preferred.
  • Certifications: A valid SSSTS or SMSTS, along with a CSCS card, is required.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities, with a commitment to delivering quality work within tight timelines.
