About the RoleAs a Race Day Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving delicious meals to our race day patrons. This is a fast-paced environment that demands efficiency, attention to detail, and a passion for culinary excellence.
Responsibilities- Collaborate effectively with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
- Prepare high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
- Adhere strictly to health, hygiene, and allergen protocols, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
- Manage deliveries, stock rotation, and relevant paperwork with accuracy and efficiency.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist the hotel kitchen as needed.
We are seeking individuals who possess:
- Minimum two years of experience in a professional kitchen setting.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality dishes using diverse ingredients.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety, HACCP, and allergen reporting procedures.
- Food Safety Level 2 Certification (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm for learning, and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes.
