Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to our family law lawyers, including preparing court documents, managing case files, and coordinating with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with case management, including tracking deadlines, preparing for court hearings, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of family law, including divorce, custody, and civil partnership dissolution.
  • Utilize case management software to manage and track cases, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant in the family law arena.
  • Deep understanding of family law, including divorce, custody, and civil partnership dissolution.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and case management software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, lawyers, and other stakeholders.
