**Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Procurement professional to join our team as an Indirect Contracts Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing indirect spend, negotiating contracts, and identifying cost savings opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage indirect spend and develop strategies to reduce costs
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure best value for money
  • Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers and dual sourcing opportunities
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies
  • Ensure compliance with sourcing and contracting policies, procedures, and risk management programs
  • Prepare regular reports on contract status, performance, and savings achieved
  • Support the Direct Purchasing Manager and Head of Purchasing as required

Requirements:

  • Proven Indirect Procurement experience in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Business Studies, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Law, or a related discipline
  • CIPS level 5 or higher
  • Experience with drafting and negotiating contracts
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional projects
  • Good business acumen and strong understanding of UK contract law and procurement regulations
  • Excel and SAP proficiency
  • Proactive and analytical mindset
  • Self-starter and team player
