Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join our production team at Valeo Foods. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain machinery to guarantee optimal performance and product quality.
  • Identify and resolve issues on an hourly basis to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Meet Process Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Health & Safety, Food Safety, Quality, Cost, and waste.
  • Handle consumer complaints and provide timely resolutions.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and monitor employee performance.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and address any unsafe conditions.
  • Understand process parameters and their impact on performance.
  • Promote housekeeping standards and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in the area of responsibility.
  • Utilize the fault report system effectively.
  • Provide feedback to staff in the processing area.
  • Comply with all company procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with training and development of colleagues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
