Job Summary

Cameron Clarke Associates is seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team in London. As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-class customer service to our clients, incorporating a range of activities including preventative planned maintenance, reactive fault calls, and small works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM (preventative planned maintenance) on Fire detection and AOV systems
  • Carry out reactive fault calls
  • Carry out small works
  • Work as part of a team
  • Conduct site surveys to assist the office-based estimator in quoting for small works
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Understand the client KPI's associated with planned and reactive calls
  • Participate in an out-of-hours London callout rota

Requirements

  • Experience in fault finding essential
  • Experience in taking downloads on addressable systems
  • Experience in the Fire industry is essential (minimum of 2 years)
  • Knowledge of Kentec, Morley, Advance, Siemens, CTEC panels desired
  • An understanding of the relevant British Standards for Fire Alarms (BS5839-1 and BS5839-6)
  • FIA certification desired
  • Take ownership and responsibility of tasks and to ensure they are completed within deadlines
  • Deliver customer service to the highest level
  • IT skills including Outlook and Excel an advantage
  • Must have a permanent right to work in the UK
  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence
