- Serve as the financial leader for the business unit, collaborating closely with the operational leader.
- Participate as a key member of the regional finance team, executing both group and business unit strategies.
- Oversee the finance team within the business unit and support the implementation of the SAP information system.
- Prepare and present monthly and annual financial reports, liaising with external auditors during the audit process.
- Possess a deep understanding of business unit operations, driving financial analysis to inform decision-making.
- Contribute to strategic and tactical financial decisions, including contract evaluations and business model enhancements.
- Work alongside other finance functions to ensure accurate, timely information flow and effective planning and control processes.
- Have a strong grasp of UK tax regulations, managing compliance and planning related to permanent establishment, transfer pricing, and VAT.
- Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or a related field; ACCA/CFA certification is a plus.
- Bring over 5 years of diverse finance experience within an industrial or manufacturing setting, particularly in multinational corporations.
- Exhibit independence, initiative, and a keen interest in the underlying factors behind financial data.
- Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and a pragmatic approach.
- Embrace change and continuous improvement, with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external business partners.
- Be a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English is essential, both written and verbal; proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous.
- Possess high proficiency in SAP and other business applications.
- Exhibit advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
