Job Overview

**Residential Property Paralegal Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Property Paralegal to join our team at LR Legal Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients and solicitors in the field of residential conveyancing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and completion of leasehold and freehold sales and purchases.
  • Handle post-completion matters, including land registry applications and stamp duty submissions.
  • Liaise with third-party lenders and estate agents to ensure seamless transactions.
  • Conduct searches and pre-completion tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle registrations and other administrative tasks related to residential conveyancing.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of SDLT returns, lease renewals, deeds of variation, searches, and pre/post-completion matters.
  • Law degree or equivalent qualification, with LPC completed or in progress.
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Paralegal in residential or conveyancing property.
  • Strong academics and excellent communication skills.
  • Pre-completion experience in addition to post-completion experience.
