About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our Adult Disability Enablement Team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with adults with disabilities, providing practical assistance and guidance to enable them to live independently and achieve their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach essential daily living skills, such as shopping, food preparation, cooking, and independent travel.
  • Work collaboratively with Enablement Locality Organisers, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, and other partners to provide comprehensive support.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to empower individuals to achieve their goals.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals and their families.
Requirements
  • Experience working with adults with disabilities and/or SEND Social Care.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing business demands.
