About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Account Director to join our team at D R Newitt Recruitment Limited. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for selling ambient food brands into various retail channels, including Garden Centres, Convenience retail, cash and carries, and wholesalers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a branded entrepreneurial business that is looking to expand its presence in the ambient food sector. You will be working closely with an experienced head of sales who will provide guidance and support to help you achieve your goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the ambient food sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and prospects.
- Plan and execute effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and achieve sales goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a field sales role, preferably in the food or drinks industry.
- Strong understanding of the retail landscape and ability to navigate complex sales channels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to travel to the office for meetings and sales calls.
What We Offer:
