About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Handler to join our team in Glasgow. As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for accurately assessing and evaluating a range of claims, negotiating settlements, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Assessment: Accurately assess a range of simple and complex claims and evaluate liability and quantum up to £25,000.
- Customer Complaints: Identify and handle customer complaints effectively.
- Negotiation and Settlement: Negotiate settlement of claims and ensure high levels of customer care.
- Collaboration: Engage with internal partners and clients to ensure fair and robust investigation of claim cases.
- Audit Participation: Participate in audits when required.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Previous claim handling experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the financial services or insurance sector preferred.
- Specialized Skills: Experience dealing with Casualty Claims is advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable Skills:
- Customer-Facing Experience: Proven work experience in a customer-facing environment.
- Commercial Insurance Experience: Experience working in a commercial insurance claims environment is advantageous.
