We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Agent / Project Manager to join our team at Cavendish Professionals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects in the construction and civils sector.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Agent / Sub Agent or Section Engineer, with a strong background in project management and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining responsibility for the commercial performance of the project
  • Preparing and supervising the delivery of RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement)
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policy and procedures
  • Undertaking risk assessments and reporting incidents, accidents and near misses as required

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices
  • CSCS and SMSTS certifications, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the construction and civils sector
  • Relevant experience in water, civils, piling, and utilities
  • A degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field
