The Role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Digital Engineering team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key part in supporting the evolution of the Financial Services industry by delivering modern, first-class cloud-based platforms through best-in-class Agile ways of working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement DevOps solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cloud-based applications
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, CircleCI, and GoCD
  • Automate and optimize DevOps processes using scripting languages such as Python and Groovy
  • Work with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based applications using application and system monitoring tools
Requirements
  • Practical experience of engineering best practices and a passion for continuous improvement
  • Deep technical knowledge of two or more technologies and a willingness to learn new technologies
  • Experience delivering software/technology projects leveraging Agile methodologies
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to non-experts with eloquence and confidence
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration concepts
