Nuclear Safety Case Consultant

Risktec Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Nuclear Safety Case Consultant to join our growing team in the North West of England. As a key member of our nuclear team, you will support major projects within the nuclear industry in the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage Safety Case documentation, including hazard identification, hazard assessments, deterministic and quantitative assessments, and designation of proportionate safety measures.
- Support the development of safety case strategies and devise key safety case arguments.
- Mentor less experienced assessors in the production of safety case documentation and the use of safety assessment tools and techniques.
- Manage delivery of projects in a consultancy environment, including contract management, client relationship management, and resource management.
- A proven track record of applying risk management principles and delivering Safety Case documentation in the Nuclear Industry.
- A drive to ensure successful delivery and continuous client satisfaction by delivering pragmatic and proportionate solutions.
- An ability to quickly grasp complex issues and apply knowledge and experience to deliver pragmatic and proportionate solutions in the context of nuclear operating plant and different stages of the plant lifecycle.
- The ability to manage interfaces with a range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Able to work as part of a team, as well as to work independently where needed.
- Clear communication skills are essential, both verbal and written, and strong organisational skills and attention to detail are critical.
- Strong analytical and logical skills are essential.
- Due to the nature of the work, the candidate must have a suitable background that will allow them to achieve UK security clearance.
