Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team at the Genuit Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers across the UK, ensuring that our products are delivered in a first-class condition and that our customers receive excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery and Logistics: Drive company vehicles and operate company equipment in a safe and proper fashion, ensuring that goods are delivered to customers on time and in good condition.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the delivery of our products and that their needs are met.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure that they are in good working order, and report any defects or issues to the relevant authorities.
  • Documentation and Administration: Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation, including delivery notes and vehicle checks.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed, and that the workplace is maintained in a safe and clean condition.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications and Experience: Current CPC and LGV C (Class 2) driving licence, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Attention to Detail: Diligent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and complete paperwork to a high standard.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and to work in a fast-paced environment.
