About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Marine Diesel Engineer/Mechanic to join our team at Talent Finder. As a shore-based engineer, you will be responsible for the service, repair, and fault diagnostics of medium to high-speed diesel engines and petrol outboard engines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and petrol outboard engines
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot engine faults and issues
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective engineering services
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of diesel engines and petrol outboard engines
Requirements
  • 6 years' time-served in a marine diesel engineering role
  • Proven expertise in diesel engines and petrol outboards
  • Basic electrical experience (beneficial but not essential)
  • A valid Full UK Driving Licence
  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

  • A permanent shore-based role with a competitive salary of £33,670 - £45,000 per year
