Jonathan Lee Recruitment is seeking an experienced Environment, Health & Safety Lead to join a global defence company in Bath. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating, supporting and advising the business on all aspects of EHS across 3 UK sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with the company's ISO45001 safety management system
- Ensure the business meets its statutory HSE obligations, including mandatory training, reporting, emergency arrangements, etc.
- Keep and maintain relevant HSE records
- Monthly reporting to senior leadership on EHS metrics
- Attend EHS-related conferences or working groups
- Review and update risk assessments, including work equipment, machinery, and operations
- Relevant qualification in Health, Safety and Environmental field
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Ideal candidate holds or works towards a H&S/HSE Diploma
- Experience in environmental waste control and reduction
- Preferably, experience within a manufacturing industry
