Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our Transport Services team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. As a key member of our workshop team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our fleet of vehicles and plant equipment to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Workshop Manager in maintaining our fleet, including third-party and plant maintenance
  • Ensure all maintenance processes are carried out effectively to meet our service obligations, including legislative and health and safety requirements
  • Work efficiently to meet our targets and standards, with a focus on cost-effectiveness and timeliness
  • Assist in the delivery of an efficient and effective Transport Workshop service, promoting a safe and productive working environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a high level of vehicle maintenance and repair, ensuring our fleet is always roadworthy and compliant with regulations
Requirements
  • City and Guilds and IMI qualifications
  • Experience in maintaining commercial LGV and plant equipment
  • Knowledge of Mercedes and Dennis vehicles and buses
  • Up-to-date MOT test qualification and ability to drive a Class 2 vehicle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a courteous and helpful approach
