Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Manager to join our Communities Service at Children North East. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our Youth Service Delivery, working closely with the Operational Lead to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our diverse and exciting youth services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the delivery of youth services, including sexual health, peer mentoring, open access drop-ins, and NSC programs.
- Lead a team of staff and volunteers to provide high-quality youth services to young people aged 9-25 years.
- Develop and implement effective project management strategies to achieve service delivery goals.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and partnership working.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing youth services and teams.
- Strong understanding of the needs of young people aged 9-25 years.
- Excellent communication, management, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Passion for youth work and a commitment to ensuring young people are at the centre of everything we do.
