About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 3.5 ton driver to join our team at City Plumbing Supplies. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure the health and safety of yourself and your vehicle at all times
  • Maintain the condition of your vehicle and report any issues to your line manager
  • Comply with all relevant transport compliance laws and regulations
  • Support the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Provide a first-class service to customers and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction
  • Assist with general duties within the branch as required, including serving customers on the trade counter and telesales
Requirements
  • A clean driving licence with previous experience as a multi-drop driver of vehicles up to 3.5 ton
  • Knowledge of the products associated with our industry would be an advantage
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
