We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team at DATS Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our Quality Control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and report on Quality Assurance and Quality Control aspects of production.
- Control and ensure the accuracy of all project documentation related to API 6A standards.
- Verify the accuracy of all required component parts.
- Complete various inspection and quality reports.
- Ensure the traceability of all parts required and documentation trail are in place.
- Record and document traceable information for certification purposes.
- Verify documentation to ensure all required information is present and accurate.
- Interpret API standards and client requirements to ensure compliance.
- Identify engineering faults and process inputs throughout key stages of component manufacture.
- Recommend adjustments to the manufacturing process.
- NC Engineering Subject or equivalent qualification.
- Educated to a good standard of high school education or equivalent.
- Preferred business exposure or equivalent work experience.
- Time served CNC machinist.
- Working knowledge of machined components manufacture and design process.
- Advanced knowledge and application of manual inspection equipment and techniques within a precision/oil and gas manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Working knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry, including disciplines and their duties and responsibilities.
- Computer literacy, including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of industry standards API 6A, ISO, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, NACE, NORSOK, PED.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings.
