Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team at DATS Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our Quality Control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and report on Quality Assurance and Quality Control aspects of production.
  • Control and ensure the accuracy of all project documentation related to API 6A standards.
  • Verify the accuracy of all required component parts.
  • Complete various inspection and quality reports.
  • Ensure the traceability of all parts required and documentation trail are in place.
  • Record and document traceable information for certification purposes.
  • Verify documentation to ensure all required information is present and accurate.
  • Interpret API standards and client requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Identify engineering faults and process inputs throughout key stages of component manufacture.
  • Recommend adjustments to the manufacturing process.
Requirements
  • NC Engineering Subject or equivalent qualification.
  • Educated to a good standard of high school education or equivalent.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Preferred business exposure or equivalent work experience.
  • Time served CNC machinist.
Essential Skills
  • Working knowledge of machined components manufacture and design process.
  • Advanced knowledge and application of manual inspection equipment and techniques within a precision/oil and gas manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Desirable Skills
  • Working knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry, including disciplines and their duties and responsibilities.
Technical Skills
  • Computer literacy, including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of industry standards API 6A, ISO, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, NACE, NORSOK, PED.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings.
