Job Opportunity at Childbase Partnership

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Apprentice in Childcare at our nursery in Sandhurst. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with our team to create a safe and supportive learning environment for children.
  • Plan and implement activities to enhance children's development and learning.
  • Interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure individual needs are met.
  • Adhere to nursery routines and policies, seeking guidance from leadership as needed.
  • Manage time effectively to submit coursework by deadlines.
Benefits:
  • Full-time role with 37.5 hours per week, working with children under 5.
  • Varying shift pattern, typically between 07:15am-18:30pm Monday-Friday.
  • 'Off the job' learning time within your working week to support studies.
  • Childcare trainer/assessor from our in-house Training Academy of Excellence.
  • 11 group training sessions with other apprentices across our partnership.
  • Competitive hourly pay rate, increasing after 6 months and 12 months in post.
  • 'Congratulations' payment of £300 upon completing the level 3 apprenticeship.

Requirements:
  • Documentation to evidence right to work in the UK.
  • Photographic ID (passport or driving license).
  • Official documentation to evidence national insurance number.
  • Access to a computer for online assessment and coursework submission.
  • Residency in the UK for at least 3 years.
  • Comfortable with traveling to and from group training sessions in Newport Pagnell.

We will facilitate a lift for you, but may require you to make your own way to and from sessions occasionally. We will pay for bus and train costs.
