Job Summary

LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of an established education provider seeking a General Counsel to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice on all matters, including commercial contracts, employment law, charity law, governance, and student-facing issues.
  • Lead the legal services team, promoting high performance and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Advise on a broad range of commercial matters, with a minimum of 5 years' experience working for an education provider.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the existing legal services team.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • UK-qualified solicitor, admitted to the SRA for England and Wales, with a current practising certificate.
  • Ability to commute to the office on a hybrid basis.
