About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Drama Teacher to join our dynamic team. As a part-time member of staff, you will play a vital role in inspiring and nurturing students' love for drama through engaging lessons and creative activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Learning:
    • Possess a deep understanding of your subject and best practices in drama pedagogy.
    • Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and risk-taking.
    • Support all students in their learning journey, fostering a sense of inclusion and belonging.
    • Implement effective teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs and promote academic growth.
    • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with curriculum objectives and inspire creativity.
  • Pastoral Care:
    • Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the school's values and safeguarding policies.
    • Contribute to the well-being of students by providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
    • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
  • General Contributions:
    • Participate in extracurricular activities and enrichment programs to enhance the student experience.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives.
    • Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of best practices.
