Our team works in partnership with NHS Continuing Healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care that enables individuals to remain at home, even when their healthcare needs are complex.
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Complex Care Assistant to join our team. As a Complex Care Assistant, you will work closely with our clients and their families to provide personalized care and support. Your role will involve delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex needs, including those with spinal cord injuries, tracheostomies, and other medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality care to clients with complex needs, including those with spinal cord injuries, tracheostomies, and other medical conditions.
- Work closely with clients and their families to understand their needs and preferences.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Provide support with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication administration.
- Assist with clinical interventions, including tracheostomy care, bowel management, and medication administration.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Previous experience in care work, preferably in a complex care setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
