About the Role

RHL Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our client's team in the UK. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing project control from initial approval through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare project plans and programmes to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Identify and manage design risks to ensure compliance with relevant company, client, national and international standards.
  • Provide appropriate engineering designs and conduct design reviews with project stakeholders.
  • Evaluate tenders and provide recommendations for contract award.
  • Authorise invoices and monitor project spend.
  • Assist in the preparation of commissioning plans and ensure good engineering practices are maintained.
Requirements
  • Graduate Engineer with BEng equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in engineering or consultancy.
  • Knowledge in specified engineering discipline (preferable in the context of the design, project engineering and construction).
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
