Lift Repair Engineer Job Description

Liftec Express is seeking a skilled Lift Repair Engineer to join our team. As a Lift Repair Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of lift equipment, ensuring that our customers' lifts are safe, efficient, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on lift equipment, including minor and major repairs, and small modifications to larger refurbishments.
  • Work on a mixture of contractual repairs and quoted repair work, liaising directly with customers on site and building a good working relationship.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards, and that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to at least NVQ Level 3, J-Module or equivalent.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of a variety of different makes of equipment, and be able to apply lift engineering principles to achieve continual lift operation.
  • Have experience of being part of a call-out rota, and be willing to join our out-of-hours rota.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
