The Role- Design and implement scalable data processing platforms
- Work with Cloud technology and big data environments to deliver high-quality results
- Lead the implementation of products from conception to delivery
- Champion Infrastructure-as-code and automation in every aspect of the solution
- Collaborate with consultancy and SaaS product development teams to provide platform configuration and maintenance support
- Maintain a broad knowledge of the technology landscape to help the company maintain market-leading tools and technology
- Develop and maintain best practice and standards in development, testing, and support
- Share knowledge gained through consultancy and product development with the wider community
- Mentor and pass on skills to less experienced members of staff and the wider business
- Ensure all platforms are delivered in a secure, supportable, and scalable manner and are fully documented
- Expertise in IaaS and PaaS on at least one Cloud provider and knowledge of other key Cloud providers
- Highly-scalable data processing platform design and implementation experience
- Excellent scripting skills in one of PowerShell, Bash/Shell, or Python
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Experience responding to delivery-focused objectives
