Job Purpose

We're seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team at the Dulux Decorator Centre in Oldham. As a Sales Assistant, you'll play a key role in providing an exceptional customer experience, working collaboratively with our UK Sales Team to drive sales and market share growth. You'll also be responsible for delivering customer orders to homes and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized solutions.
  2. Use our client service tools to ensure a consistent customer experience.
  3. Support the store's monthly customer contact plan.
  4. Follow the merchandising plan to maintain a well-stocked shop floor.
  5. Develop your skills and encourage colleagues to do so using our training tools.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer service or retail role.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Calm under pressure.
