Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Smart 10 Ltd. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, from receiving and storing inventory to picking and packing orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and Storing Inventory: Assist with the unloading of vehicles and checking in stock, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Picking and Packing: Use handheld scanner devices to pick items and pack them for dispatch, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • Inventory Control: Perform regular stock counts and location checks, using scanner devices and computer systems to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business performance targets, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records.
  • Reliability and Dependability: Demonstrate a strong commitment to attendance, punctuality, and meeting deadlines.
  • Literacy and Numeracy: Possess excellent communication and mathematical skills, with the ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic calculations.
