Job Title: Apprentice C&I Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Apprentice C&I Engineer to join our team at Carbon 60. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control and instrumentation systems for our water and wastewater treatment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Read, design, and draft Instrument Loop Diagrams, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Cable Management: Understand, calculate, and check cable sizes and cable schedules.
  • Field Support: Provide field support for pilot trials, installations, commissioning, or any other field works.
  • Studies and Analysis: Participate in Hazop / SIL / Operability Studies at UK/Overseas Sites.
  • CAD Skills: Use CAD for electrical, instrumentation, and P&ID drawings, including P&IDs & Equipment Layout, Wiring Diagrams, Panel Layouts, Panel Schematics, Skid Layouts, Electrical Single Line and Block Cabling Diagrams, and Electrical Connection Diagrams.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical & Instrumentation, or related field).
  • Experience: Experience in instrumentation and process engineering, preferably in water and wastewater treatment or similar industries.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of instrumentation selection, including sensors, analysers, valves, and control systems.
