Audit & Accounts Senior

We are seeking a talented Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and finalising accounts for owner managed businesses, including Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited companies.
You will also be responsible for preparing business tax computations, reviewing VAT returns, and leading audits for Limited companies. Additionally, you will produce draft financial statements, supervise junior staff, and build trusted client relationships as their main point of contact.
As a Semi Senior, you will have the opportunity to champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities and working directly with Managers, Directors, and Partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.

What's On Offer- £35,000 to £45,000 per annum.

- ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified with previous experience in practice
- AAT and QBE qualified, studying towards ACA/ACCA, or with a desire to begin study also considered
- Study support can be provided for the right candidate
- At least 2 years' experience leading audits from planning to completion
- Adept at the preparation of statutory accounts
- Experience using Xero, Quickbooks and Microsoft Office applications
- A hands-on team player who can also work autonomously
- Excellent work ethic, self-motivated, and reliable
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties
- Good awareness of current affairs and solid commercial acumen
