The Role:

What will you be responsible for as a QHSE Specialist?

Support the QHSE Manager in cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and assessment at the facility by achieving and reporting on business objectives.

  • Identify and rectify non-conformances, non-compliances, and areas for enhancement within the organization.
  • Encourage and implement preventive and corrective action strategies throughout the company.
  • Act as the primary contact for designated programs.
  • Comply with the QHSE Audit program, ensuring audit reports are delivered on time and to a high standard, while tracking supporting metrics/reports with minimal oversight.
  • Conduct internal and supplier system audits, guide third-party certification processes, and customer product audits, including analyzing findings, recommending enhancements, and addressing non-conformances.
  • Resolve non-conformances by identifying root causes, corrective actions, and preventive measures using best practice tools to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide quality assurance, eliminate safety hazards, and manage environmental risks by implementing, enhancing, and maintaining QHSE policies, processes, procedures, and systems.

What are we looking for in our next QHSE Specialist?

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Strong awareness and understanding of current health and safety requirements, legislation, and regulations.
  • A quick learner with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers and key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of APQP/PPAP processes.
  • Ability to analyze information and identify key issues.
