About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Staff Nurse to support the Outpatient Manager and team at The Westbourne Centre.
The Centre is one of the UK's largest independent clinics established in 2009 as part of a joint venture between 5 regional consultants and the global hospital company, Ramsay Healthcare.
As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional standards of clinical care to our surgical patients, covering a range of surgical specialties including plastic/cosmetic surgery, minor orthopaedic surgery, general surgery & ophthalmic surgery.
You will work closely with the Outpatient Manager to oversee day-to-day clinical activity, ensuring efficient use of staff hours and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care and customer experience
- Facilitate the best possible clinical outcomes
- Assist in the rostering of staff to ensure efficient use of staff hours
- Participate in clinical governance, ensuring audits are undertaken and incidents/complaints are investigated
- Act as a role model, ensuring the highest levels of professional standards
- Optimise efficient use of consumables and stock levels
- Regular liaison with the maintenance department to ensure service dates for all outpatients equipment are adhered to
