Job Title: Data Cabling Project Manager

At Digital Waffle, we are seeking an experienced Data Cabling Project Manager to lead and manage data cabling and fibre optic installation projects at large commercial, MOD, Naval, and X-listed sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project management and delivery of data cabling and fibre optic projects
  • Compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Financial accountability and client satisfaction
  • Team leadership and management
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to conduct site surveys, design solutions, and provide cost estimates
  • Proficiency in project tracking and management
  • Excellent technical knowledge in data communications
Requirements:
  • Strong project management expertise
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in copper and fibre network infrastructure installation and containment
  • Familiarity with structured cabling systems and relevant industry standards
  • Knowledge of communication technology regulations
  • Understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
