Key Responsibilities
  • Working closely with the commercial team to manage multiple sites and ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.
  • Pricing and estimating for projects, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Resolving pricing issues with clients and negotiating contracts.
  • Liaising with site managers to collate information on day-to-day remits and managing subcontractors.
  • Change management and early warnings, ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Contract administration, including NEC and NR forms of contract.
  • Final accounting and ensuring accurate financial records.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (HNC/HND/Degree).
  • Civil Engineering project experience, including rail, bridges, roads, and structures.
  • Rail experience, including Network Rail projects or maintenance frameworks.
  • Contractual experience with NEC or bespoke NR forms of contract.
  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a contractor organization.
