Junior Estimator Job Description

Talented People Solutions Commercial Ltd is seeking a skilled Junior Estimator to join our team. As a Junior Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labour, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimation: Prepare comprehensive estimates for electrical projects, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Liaising with the contracts manager to review quotes and ensure accuracy.
  • Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and produce a quotation that meets their expectations.
  • Meet on sites to survey works and ensure all requirements are met.
  • Ensuring quote submissions are comprehensively reviewed and qualified correctly.
  • Reviewing quotes not won and liaising with clients for feedback.
  • Ordering of materials for accepted works.
  • Liaising with engineers on a daily basis for materials needed.
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages (Excel/Word/Outlook).
  • Ability to self-manage time and workloads and multi-task various projects sequentially.
  • Ability to liaise and converse with clients in a professional manner.
  • Full UK driver's licence.
  • Multitasking.
  • Proactive.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00am - 18:00pm
