Job Role:

As a Mechanical Supervisor with Gov Facility Services Ltd, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities. You will be responsible for supervising a team of skilled tradespeople, including plumbers, electricians, and carpenters, to maintain and repair our buildings and infrastructure.

Location:

HMP Feltham is a secure facility that requires a high level of maintenance and upkeep. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be based at this site and will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance and repair work is carried out to a high standard.

Salaries:

The salary for this role is £39,921.92 to £41, Depending on Experience. In addition to your salary, you will also receive a 5% bonus for working shift and weekend hours.

Contract:

This is a full-time, permanent contract with a 39-hour working week. You will be required to work Monday to Sunday, with a range of shifts and hours.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at HMP Feltham. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising a team of skilled tradespeople to maintain and repair our buildings and infrastructure
  • Ensuring that all maintenance and repair work is carried out to a high standard
  • Managing and maintaining our inventory of tools and equipment
  • Coordinating and scheduling maintenance and repair work
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior staff members
