Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced part-time groom to join our team at Yard and Groom. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horse husbandry and stable management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Turn out and stable three retired polo ponies
  • Put on rugs as needed
  • Muck out stables, groom, feed, and clean tack
  • Perform gentle exercise for the horses, including leading and riding
Requirements
  • First-Aid certification
  • Equine First-Aid certification
  • Sole Charge experience
  • Exercising and hacking skills
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work on a part-time basis, Monday to Saturday, with a 2.5-hour daily commitment during the summer and 3 hours during the winter. The role involves working with a small team and requires a high level of independence.
