**Job Title:** Ecological Consultant

**Salary:** Up to £30,000

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ecological Consultant to join our team at Penguin Recruitment Ltd. As an Ecological Consultant, you will play a key role in managing a variety of projects and providing expert advice on ecology and biodiversity to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

**About the Role:**

As an Ecological Consultant, you will be responsible for leading ecological surveys, conducting impact assessments, and evaluating biodiversity net gain. Your role will also involve preparing ecological reports and strategies, implementing biodiversity enhancement measures, and mentoring junior team members. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, helping to build and maintain strong working relationships.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead ecological surveys and impact assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement biodiversity enhancement measures to improve ecological outcomes
  • Prepare and present ecological reports and strategies to clients and stakeholders
  • Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and expertise
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies
