AJS Control and Automation: Control Systems Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at AJS Control and Automation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for interpreting customer requirements, developing project specifications, and implementing software solutions for our control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret customer requirements and develop project specifications
  • Develop and implement software solutions for control systems
  • Work with Siemens and Allen Bradley platforms
  • Develop bespoke PLC code and intuitive HMI designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in control systems engineering
  • Good understanding of machine process and line control
  • Development of customized PLC code tailored to project requirements
  • Creating user-friendly HMIs for seamless interaction
  • Understanding of client requirements from documentation such as user requirement specification or functional design specifications
  • Onsite commissioning at the end of the project
Desirable Skills:
  • Siemens TIA Portal
  • Rockwell Studio 5000
  • Working in industry and manufacturing sectors
  • Understanding of electrical systems and installations
  • SQL and SCADA knowledge
