Job Title: Principal Engineer - Product Safety

Location: Flexible working arrangements available

Salary: Up to GBP60,100 depending on qualifications and experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our Product Safety team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for facilitating the implementation of relevant Product Safety processes and production of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the management of hazards, risks, and associated mitigations
• Develop safety arguments to go into the safety report
• Organise and facilitate HAZIDs and review meetings
• Take responsibility for product safety assessment against major subsystems or key complex technologies

Requirements:

Essential:

• Experience in product safety management processes and techniques
• Familiar with report writing and developing safety arguments

Desirable:

• Experience leading hazard identification meetings
• Background within a Naval/Maritime environment or similar highly regulated industry
