Job Summary

Coleg Cambria is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer in Electrical Installation to join our team. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to our students, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver electrical installation courses to students at our Bersham campus.
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain high-quality curriculum materials.
  • Contribute to the development of the electrical installation program, including curriculum design and implementation.
Requirements
  • Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 or equivalent in a professionally relevant subject matter.
  • A minimum of a Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g. Cert Ed/PGCE) or be working towards a Level 5 teaching qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work independently using own initiative.
  • Possess or be working towards Verifier award.
  • Possess or be working towards Assessor award.
  • Awareness of the importance of quality standards within teaching.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Welsh language skills.
